Jammu, Kashmir BJP Leader Anil Prihar Killed in Kishtwar

BJP state secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Kumar has been gunned down by unidentified gunmen in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar on Thursday.

>> In a shocking incident, the state secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu and Kashmir, Anil Parihar, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Thursday dated 01 November 2018. Reports said Parihar’s brother Ajeet Kumar Parihar was also killed in the militant attack in Kishtwar. It was not confirmed whether terrorists carried out the killings.

The Police are at the spot of the incident and investigations are underway. Reports said Section 144 has been imposed in the Kishtwar town.
>> As per reports, the attack took place outside Parihars’ residence. Ajeet Parihar was a SFC employee and he was returning home with Anil after closing their stationary shop.
Anil Parihar had contested the 2008 Assembly Elections on the ticket of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party from Kishtwar constituency.
>> State BJP spokesman Altaf Thakur confirmed their killing.
